The CIT, which is located in the industrial park of Boroa (Amorebieta-Etxano, Spain), consists of two buildings with a surface of more than 2000 square meters each. For this centre the initial investment made was of 25 million euros and is the worksite of 25 first class researchers and technological developers and has received during the year 2009 more than 160 national and international visits.
This centre is also constituted by the High Power Laboratory, Laboratorio de alta potencia, with all the necessary equipment for experimental research related to Medium Voltage equipment which Ormazabal manufactures and delivers to the market as well as for the certification of the actual products.
The CIT's aim is to be an organization with an international prestige in the application of new technologies within the electrical distribution business.
