The release of the new SF6 gas insulated CGM.3 up to 40,5 kV comes as a response to the increasing demand of the power distribution market in countries such as China and Eastern Europe, were Medium Voltage networks require greater insulating levels than the established by IEC 62271-1 for 36 kV . This switchgear adapts to the new wind power generation trends with nominal voltages of up to 40,5 kV. Units are Internal Arc tested in all compartments, Class IAC, attending to the international specification IEC 62271-200.
The new CGM.3 will be available in the market next June 2010.
