Renault will commission the biggest photovoltaic installation in the automotive sector in February 2012, located in 6 different manufacturing facilities in the north of France and as a part of their commitment to renewable energies.
Renault relied on Eiffage's engineering and consulting services while Gestamp Solar took over for the construction and commissioning of the plant. Ormazabal France and Eiffage worked on the project for 2 years, finally delivering our client a turnkey solution consisting of 43 totally equipped photovoltaic substations PFU-7 and switching substations CMS, 9 PF5 substations to link with EDF's 20 kV network and 5 PF-4 for the supply of the auxiliary services.
