The Gangwon Wind Farm is right now the biggest Wind Farm installed in South Korea and the East of Asia, with an energy production of 244 Gwh per year. Lahmeyer International GmbH has been involved in this project from its beginning, as owner's engineering, project developer and shareholder and the complete installation in its three phases was completed in October 2006.
Ormazabal supplied the Medium Voltage switchgear from the CGMCOSMOS system, for switching operations and protection of the electrical distribution network.
