NEOSUB - NEOSUB
This project, led by BOSLAN, counts on the participation of ORMAZABAL, along with leading companies such as ARTECHE, INGETEAM, GENERAL ELECTRIC, ZIV, IK INGENIERÍA and the ENERGY HUB.
The project forms part of the Basque Regional Government's "HAZITEK" programme, carried out between 2018 and 2020.
The main aim of the NEOSUB project is to design and develop electrical substations based on ecodesign criteria, in order to give operators, engineering firms and manufacturers of substation equipment competitive advantages in 2 key aspects:
- In costs, through greater efficiency in the consumption of materials and energy, thus reducing production and maintenance costs for facilities.
- In sustainability, by minimising the environmental impact of infrastructure throughout its working life, reducing emissions and/or discharges in both the manufacturing stage and also during installation, use and maintenance, and promoting reuse and recycling of all equipment and materials at the end of their working life.
The NEOSUB project is co-funded by the BASQUE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT and the EUROPEAN UNION through the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020 (FEDER)
