Concrete transformer stations as complete solution for biogas system in Germany
Turning liquid manure into energy was the aim of a pig farmyard in Saxony-Anhalt when, in 2017, it commissioned our partner Elektro Bohndorf
to build a biogas plant. The electrical installation company cooperated with Ormazabal
in order to feed the electricity generated by this system into the public medium-voltage grid. We manufactured and supplied two concrete transformer stations as a complete solution that was specially adapted to the customer's needs. The two concrete stations ormaset.p
comprised medium-voltage switchgear of the ga-gae system
, two transformers with 630 / 800 kVA and the corresponding secondary equipment. Hence, as desired by the client, the complete project management was completed by a single source. “Even transport and approval process was carried out and accompanied by Ormazabal. This was a big help to us as constructor.
", confirms Andreas Bohndorf, the second managing director of Elektro Bohndorf. Due to their compact dimensions, the stations were delivered completely pre-assembled. In this way, the tight schedule could be adhered to: Only a few weeks time passed between planning order and final delivery.
