First Ormazabal switching substationFollowing our recent approval by CFE (Federal Electricity Commission) for the supply of the cgmcosmos and cgm.3 fully gas-insulated switchgear systems, we have supplied the first switching substation in Mexico.
To be used by the Banamex Call Center in the city of Querétaro, the switching substation formed by cgm.3 equipment, in line with IEEE regulations, has met the requirements for this installation powered by a 34.5 kV network.
Our supply comprises three circuit-breaker cubicles, two of which have a motorised driving mechanism and an ekor.rpg-ci electronic protection unit programmed to operate as automatic line transfer and a third with a manual driving mechanism and an ekor.rpg electronic protection unit. The ekor.uct compact remote control unit has been supplied with the equipment. This equipment is prepared for operation in outdoor conditions thanks to the metal enclosure covering it.
The close relationship with the CFE utility and our innovative approach are successfully combined in the adapted products and services, according to specific regulations and specifications compliant with local and international standards.
