The largest solar plant in Latin AmericaOrmazabal has participated in the development of the largest photovoltaic plant in Latin America, named Aura Solar I, which has a total power capacity of 30MW. The solar plant, which is installed in the La Paz region (Mexico) and occupies an area of 100 hectares, will be able to generate electricity for 160,000 inhabitants, avoiding the production of around 60,000 tonnes of CO2.
Ormazabal has integrated complete photovoltaic solutions, supplying metal containers, power transformers from 1000 kVA to 1750 kVA, CGMCOSMOS fully gas-insulated cubicles and integrating PV inverters in such containers.Additionally, we have supplied the CPG.0 fully gas-insulated cubicles that constitute the substation, as well as the protections and gauges in accordance with IEC 61850.
More than 600 solar farms located in every corner of the world use Ormazabal technology, which confirms the confidence that people have in Ormazabal in this sector. For this reason we maintain a firm commitment to renewable energies and we offer custom solutions for the needs of each of our customers.
