We have obtained the tender for 650 transformersOrmazabal has achieved the second of the batches of 650 distribution transformers that make up part of the project “Reduction of electric energy losses for PGE Dystrybucja S.A, one of the largest utilities in Poland.
This project began in 2011 with the purpose of reducing electric energy losses in the Warsaw area. It was at this time when Ormazabal delivered the first batch of 650 distribution transformers.
After the success achieved, a second batch has been awarded to us, valued at 8.5 M Zloty (approx. €2 M), which includes the supply of 650 distribution transformers of different powers. 40, 63, 100, 160, 250, 400 and 630 kVA .
Ormazabal began life in Poland in 2003, focusing its business on the sales of medium-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers. Ever since then we have supplied more than 3000 transformers to Energa, around 1600 to ENEA and more than 1300 to PGE, all leading utilities in Poland. Among our most prominent projects in Poland are the Margonin and Marszewo wind farms.
Since 2012, and thanks to the purchase of the transformer substation factory Zakład Produkcyjny in Pyskowice, we have been capable of offering comprehensive, prefabricated concrete transformer substation solutions to our customers.
