We raise the curtain at the Cervantes National TheatreThe Cervantes National Theatre, located in the heart of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is an icon of the intense theatrical activity of the city.
Founded by the Spanish actress, María Guerrero and her husband, also hailing from Spain, Fernando Díaz de Mendoza, the construction was completed in 1921 and was donated to the Argentine government. In 1995 it was declared a National Historic Monument.
Ormazabal has been chosen to supply the medium-voltage switchgear to be installed in the theatre's new transformer substation.
The supply will include two identical cgmcosmos fully gas-insulated modular units that will have ekor.rpg.ci electronic protection units to protect and feed 2 medium / low-voltage transformers. These identical units, each made up of a cable rise function, two protection functions with a vacuum circuit-breaker and a metering function, are joined via a longitudinal coupling function.
The cgmcosmos system has a range of fully gas-insulated modular functions that are able to configure any electrical diagram in secondary-distribution networks up to 24 kV. This maintenance-free product was designed and developed especially to be unaffected by environmental changes or aggressive environments, etc.
The ekor.rpg.ci communicable digital protection unit was developed to integrate with our vacuum circuit-breaker functions, providing protection against overloads and short-circuits, integrated control functions that allow for the detection of voltage presence and absence, remote control, and current and voltage metering using sensors, etc.
