At Ormazabal we consider sustainability as a central element of our business strategy and therefore, we integrate it transversally throughout the organization

Our business model seeks to contribute to sustainable development by generating long-term value that benefits all our stakeholders, responding to increasingly ambitious environmental, social, and governance demands. This has been largely contributed to by the proliferation of relevant European regulations, which began in 2001 with the European Commission’s presentation of the Green Paper “to promote a European framework for corporate social responsibility” and which has led to what is now considered a regulatory tsunami, with standards such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive 2022/2464 (CSRD). To provide the necessary resources and structures to properly develop this area, at Ormazabal we launched a multidisciplinary forum in 2023 dedicated to the analysis of the different relevant ESG aspects for the company, approaching them from an integrative and holistic perspective.
