SE-BOAT PROJECT, Research into technologies for the solar-electric propulsion vessel of the future

The R&D project carried out by SUPSONIK, entitled “Research into technologies for the solar-electric propulsion boat of the future” has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).

The SE-BOAT project consists of generating knowledge through research that will determine the storage, solar-electric propulsion, control, sustainability and structure technologies of the boat, which will lay the foundations for the future zero-emission recreational boat.

SE-BOAT is a multi-year strategic industrial research collaboration project (2023-2025) in which the following entities and/or agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network participate: LASAI MARINE XXI S.L., BIRZIPLASTIC, S.L., COMPOSITES QUIMIBBER S.L., MICROELECTRONICA MASER, S.L., SUPSONIK, FUNDACION CIDETEC, FUNDACIÓN TECNALIA RESEARCH & INNOVATION, MONDRAGON GOI ESKOLA POLITEKNIKOA JMA, S.COOP. and GAIKER FOUNDATION.
