PRICEGEN – Joint smart grid project in the Henares corridor. Energy Management

CURRENT participates in the PRICEGEN project led by Unión Fenosa Distribución, collaborating with companies such as Iberdrola Distribución, Sac Maker, Ziv Metering Solutions, ERICSSON, CIRCE and UC3M.
The project is part of the “INNPACTO 2011” program of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and is being developed during 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Objectives:

The main objective of the project is to develop an optimal and interoperable network architecture, taking into account the new needs of the smart grid and the implementation of said architecture through the development of new smart metering equipment that provides timely information on customers’ consumption and generation, as well as the status of the electricity grid.
