CEDIP 12. - PRIMARY DISTRIBUTION CELLS FOR 12 KV

The CEDIP 12 project is a project led byORMASABALframed within the Basque Government’s “HAZITEK” program. It is being developed during the years 2022-2024.

Goals:

This project, led by ORMAZABAL DISTRIBUCIÓN PRIMARIA, in collaboration with ORMAZABAL PROTECTION & AUTOMATION, aims to develop a range of single primary distribution busbar cells for 12 kV public distribution networks.

To achieve this main objective in the project, the following technological challenges must be overcome:

• Design of a range of gas-insulated cells of reduced dimensions.
• Reduction of the environmental impact of the cell range by designing the insulation system for the use of the cells with an alternative gas to SF6.
• Integrate sensors (Industry 4.0) into the cells for the diagnosis of their health status (Health Index).
