CEDIP 12. – PRIMARY DISTRIBUTION CELLS FOR 12 KV

The CEDIP 12 project is a project led by ORMAZABAL within the framework of the Basque Government’s “HAZITEK” program. It will be developed during the years 2022-2024.

Objectives:

This project, led by ORMAZABAL DISTRIBUCIÓN PRIMARIA, in collaboration with ORMAZABAL PROTECTION & AUTOMATION aims to develop a range of single primary distribution bar switchgear for 12 kV public distribution networks.

To achieve this main objective, the following technological challenges must be overcome:

• Design of a range of small-sized gas-insulated switchgear.
• Reduction of the environmental impact of the switchgear range by designing the insulation system for the use of the switchgear with an alternative gas to SF6.
• Integrate sensors (Industry 4.0) in the switchgear to diagnose their health status (Health Index).
