CEPIGON – Medium Voltage Primary Distribution Cells with Natural GasesCEPIGON –

ACTION CO-FINANCED BY THE BASQUE GOVERNMENT (DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENT) AND THE EUROPEAN UNION THROUGH THE EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND 2021-2027 (ERDF)

The R&D project entitled “Medium Voltage Primary Distribution Cells with Natural Gases” has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).

CEPIGON is a project that aims to research and develop a new family of SF6-free primary distribution cells up to 24kV that, through the use of naturally sourced gases, meets the requirements set out in the new European Regulation (EU) 2024/573.

Furthermore, the scope of the project also includes the development of new sensor technology with which the new generation of primary distribution cells will be equipped, as well as the development of a data acquisition, storage and analytics system that will monitor the health status of the cell in the field, thus advancing in industry 4.0.

This is a competitive industrial research project in which ORMAZABAL DISTRIBUCIÓN PRIMARIA, S.L.U. is participating.
