EIDER – Research and development in data and electrical grid architectures to improve grid visibility and prosumer integration

ACTION CO-FINANCED BY THE BASQUE GOVERNMENT (DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENT) AND THE EUROPEAN UNION THROUGH THE EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND 2021-2027 (ERDF)

The R&D project carried out by ORMAZABAL entitled “Research and development in data and architectures of electrical networks for the improvement of network visibility and integration of prosumers” has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).

EIDER is a project whose objective is to investigate digital technologies for the development of products/systems that allow the deployment of functionalities in architecturesEdge Computing in the nodes of the Medium and Low Voltage electricity network, thus increasing its visibility and control and facilitating the introduction of governance mechanisms in the information channels and the integration of prosumers into the network.

This is a multi-year strategic industrial research collaboration project (2024-2025) in which the following entities and/or agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network participate: ACLARA METERS, S.L. (leader), AYESA IBERMATICA S.A.U., INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS, S.L.,MEDIUM VOLTAGE ORMAZABAL, S.L.U., AVENIDA ELECTRICA EXPOENCIAL S.L.U., ZIGOR CORPORACION, S. A., FUNDACIÓ TECNALIA RESEARCH AND INNOVATION, INSTITUTO IBERMAMATICA DE INNOVACIÓ, S.L., ORMAZABAL CORPORATE, A.CH. ZIGOR RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT, A.I.E., ZIV I+D SMART ENERGY NETWORKS, A.I.E.
