EIDER – Research and development in data and electrical grid architectures to improve grid visibility and prosumer integration

ACTION CO-FINANCED BY THE BASQUE GOVERNMENT (DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENT) AND THE EUROPEAN UNION THROUGH THE EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND 2021-2027 (ERDF)

The R&D project carried out by ORMAZABAL entitled “Research and development in data and architectures of electrical networks to improve network visibility and integration of prosumers” has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).

EIDER is a project that aims to research digital technologies for the development of products/systems that allow the deployment of functionalities in Edge Computing architectures in the nodes of the Medium and Low Voltage electrical network, thus increasing their visibility and control and facilitating the introduction of governance mechanisms in information channels and the integration of prosumers in the red.

This is a multi-year strategic industrial research collaboration project (2024-2025) in which the following entities and/or agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network participate: ACLARA METERS, S.L. (leader), AYESA IBERMATICA S.A.U., INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS, S.L., ORMAZABAL MEDIA TENSIÓN, S.L.U., AVENIDA ELECTRICA EXPONENCIAL S.L.U., ZIGOR CORPORACION, S. A., TECNALIA RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FOUNDATION, IBERMÁTICA INSTITUTE OF INNOVATION, S.L., ORMAZABAL CORPORATE TECHNOLOGY, A.I.E., ZIGOR RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT, A.I.E., ZIV R&D SMART ENERGY NETWORKS, A.I.E.
