FLOW – Development of a floating wind turbine for full-scale demonstration at BIMEP

The FLOW project is led by Nautilus Floating Solutions. Ormazabal is participating in it together with leading companies in the Basque energy industry and the offshore wind sector. The project is part of the Basque Government’s “HAZITEK” program and will be developed during 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Objectives:

The main objective of the project is the development and experimental validation of a floating wind turbine at BIMEP. The project will position the consortium and the Basque industry in the emerging sector of floating offshore wind energy.
