GADIA – Wind Turbine Interconnection Asset Management

The GADIA project is a project led by Ormazabal, which collaborates in the project together with the CENTER FOR TECHNICAL STUDIES AND RESEARCH (CEIT-IK4), MONDRAGON GOI ESKOLA POLITEKNIKOA (MGEP). The project is part of the MINECO’s “Collaboration Challenges” program and will be developed during 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Objectives:

The main objective of the project is the development of detectors for online monitoring of dielectric liquid degradation in distribution transformers using self-developed sensors, the development of an integrated online monitoring system for the degree of vacuum in circuit breakers installed in medium-voltage cubicles, and the development of an insulation monitoring and diagnostic system for transformers and cables.

Other project objectives are:

  1. Transformers: Development of detectors for online monitoring of dielectric liquid degradation in distribution transformers using self-developed sensors
  2. Cells with circuit breakers vacuum: Development of an integrated online monitoring system for the degree of vacuum in switches installed in medium-voltage cubicles
  3. Development of a monitoring and diagnostic system for insulation in transformers and cables.
