GET - Optimized Cells with New Intelligent Sensors and Eco-efficient Universal Gases

The CONSIGUE project is a project led by ORMAZABAL within the framework of the Basque Government’s “HAZITEK” program. It runs from 2019 to 2021.

Goals:

This project, led by ORMAZABAL Y COMPAÑÍA, in collaboration with Advanced Model Solutions, AISLANTES SOLIDOS and ORMAZABAL PROTECTION & AUTOMATION, aims to develop a medium voltage cell for the secondary electrical distribution network in a gas with a GWP < 150.

Others:

To achieve this main objective, the project will develop:

• A three-position gas switch
• A sensorized single-pole bushing for providing voltage measurement on service entrance cables
• Adapting existing hardware to support sensor signals that enable the Health Index to be calculated
• An asset management software for integration into relays in order to incorporate and process data to generate information on the Health Index of the medium voltage cell.
