POWINMOD – Design and development of integrated power modules

Ormazabalparticipates in the POWINMOD project, framed within the “ETORGAI 2016” program of the Basque Government.

The project, led by FAGOR, is being developed during the years 2015-2017, and also involves the companies Ingeteam, JEMA and the agents of the RVCTI at the University of the Basque Country, Stirling Centre,Ormazabal Corporate Technology.

Goals:

The main objective of the project is to develop, design and manufacture novel integrated power modules (IPMs) as well as the development of their applications in the following fields:

• Automotive,
• Traction,
• Energy

Others:

The objective ofOrmazabalWithin the project is the integration of the new integrated power modules (IPMs) developed for energy applications. SpecificallyOrmazabalIt will develop a container building and a protection relay for systems intended for the electrical power supply of ships from port (OPS) Onshore Power Supply.
