MONICA - Advanced Monitoring and Control of MV and LV Distribution Networks

Ormazabalparticipate in theMONICA projectframed within the “FEDER INNTERCONECTA 2015” program of the CDTI.

The project, led by ENDESA Distribución, is being developed during the years 2015-2017, and the companies AYESA, IGELECTUS and AICIA from the University of Seville are also participating.

The project falls within the Smartgrids or Intelligent Networks concept, in which Ormazabal is a leader in offering solutions for the intelligent remote management of network assets.

 

Goals:

 

The main objective of the project is to develop a suite of monitoring and diagnostic tools for distribution networks (MV and LV), similar to those that have traditionally existed in high voltage (HV) networks.

 

Others:

 

The main activity carried out byOrmazabalIt will be the development of an integrated energy measurement system in medium and low voltage for transformation and distribution centers, which will be deployed on the SMARTCITY demonstration platform in Malaga.
