NEOSUB

This project led by BOSLAN, has the participation of ORMAZABAL together with leading companies such as ARTECHE, INGETEAM, GENERAL ELECTRIC, ZIV, IK INGENIERÍA and the ENERGY CLUSTER.

The project is part of the “HAZITEK ESTRATÉGICO” program of the Basque Government and will be developed during the years 2018 and 2020.

Objectives:

The general objective of the NEOSUB project is to design and develop electrical substations with eco-design criteria, which allow operators, engineers and manufacturers of capital goods for substations to be provided with competitive advantages in 2 key aspects:

• In costs, through greater efficiency in the consumption of materials and energy that allow reducing production and maintenance costs the facilities.
• In sustainability, by minimizing the environmental impact of infrastructures throughout their useful life, reducing emissions and/or discharges both in the manufacturing phase of the equipment and in the installation, use and maintenance phases, and promoting the reuse and recycling of the equipment and the materials that comprise it at the end of its life.
