OPTIAM Project, Optimization of the design of the electrical grid and its components to minimize the environmental impact of electricity consumption

The R&D project carried out by ORMAZABAL entitled “Optimization of the electrical network design and its components to minimize environmental impact of electricity consumption” has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).

OPTIAM is a project that aims to develop innovative electrical equipment by integrating eco-design criteria and digital energy planning tools with a prospective nature that facilitate decision-making in the deployment of new generation, distribution and storage projects.

This is a multi-year strategic industrial research collaboration project (2023-2025) in which the following entities and/or agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network participate: ORMAZABAL Y COMPAÑÍA, S.L.
