OPTIMUS - On-line Partial discharge Trackin using an Improved Monitoring and Ubiquitous Solution

Ormazaballeads the OPTIMUS project within the framework of the program“Collaboration Challenges”from MINECO.

The project, which is being carried out during the years 2014-2016, has the collaboration of the companies DIAEL and SITEL and the universities of Modragón MGE and UPM.

Goals:

The goal of the OPTIMUS project is to achieve sustainable energy generation and distribution that is environmentally friendly, economically viable, and socially acceptable. This will be accomplished by diagnosing the insulation of the distribution network through partial discharge monitoring.
