Sec2Grid – New smart electronic devices for a more secure electricity distribution network against cyberattacks

The Sec2Grid project is a project led by INGETEAM in collaboration with ORMAZABAL, ZIV, ARTECHE, ZIGOR, PwC, IBERDROLA, BARBARA, within the framework of the Basque Government’s “HAZITEK” program. It will be developed during the year 2022-2024.

The objective of the Sec2Grid project is to provide the entire electricity sector value chain with the capacity to respond in a coordinated and rapid manner to cybersecurity incidents that affect the Smart Grid.

Objectives:

Ormazabal, together with its partners, aims to generate new knowledge that enables innovation in disruptive technologies and solutions to address the cybersecurity challenges of the electricity sector, in the following areas:

  1. Advanced algorithms for self-assessment of the state of cybersecurity.
  2. Unified information model for cybersecurity threats.
  3. Unified information model for command and control of updates.
