We join the Target Gender Equality Accelerator Programme by the UN Global Compact

This tool supports companies in adopting concrete measures that promote gender equality and women’s leadership.

At Ormazabal, we are taking a step forward in our commitment to gender equality by joining the Target Gender Equality accelerator program, promoted by the Global Compact to leverage the prominent role of companies in society as a catalyst to boost both gender equality and women’s leadership.

Thus, Target Gender Equality offers a practical methodology through an initial performance analysis, capacity-building workshops, peer learning spaces, and dialogue among multiple stakeholders, both nationally and internationally. These training sessions, in which several colleagues from the organization have participated, provide the tools necessary to implement these commitments within our organization.

This represents a new milestone in our firm commitment to gender equality, framed within our ESG strategy.

Sobre Target Gender Equality

This UN program is supported by more than 690 organizations worldwide and over 40 companies in Spain, involving 1,300 people from 72 different countries. It also has a global coalition comprised of UN agencies, such as UN Women and the International Labour Organization (ILO), and other organizations and experts who contribute their knowledge and experience to support the program.

In addition, the Women’s Institute of the Government of Spain and the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) are part of this Coalition at the national level for the fifth consecutive year, and have been closely linked to the development of the program.
