We joined the Global Compact's Target Gender Equality accelerator program.

This tool accompanies companies in the adoption of concrete measures that promote gender equality and women’s leadership

Since Ormazabal is taking a step forward in our commitment to gender equality by joining the Target Gender Equality accelerator program, promoted by the Global Compact to leverage the prominent role of businesses in society as a catalyst to drive both gender equality and women’s leadership.

Thus, Target Gender Equality offers a practical methodology through an initial performance analysis, capacity-building workshops, peer-to-peer learning spaces, and dialogue between multiple stakeholder groups, both nationally and internationally. Training sessions in which different colleagues from the organization have taken part and which serve to provide tools for the implementation of these commitments in our organization.

This represents a new milestone in our firm commitment to gender equality, framed within our ESG strategy.

About Target Gender Equality

This UN program is supported by more than 690 organizations around the world and more than 40 companies in Spain; involving 1,300 people from 72 different countries. Thus, it has a global Coalition made up of United Nations agencies, such as UN Women or the International Labour Organization (ILO), and other organizations and experts to support the program through their knowledge and experience.

In addition, the Women’s Institute of the Government of Spain and the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) are part of this national Coalition for the fifth consecutive year, and have been closely linked to the development of the program.
