WIND 4.0 - Collaborative development of Industry 4.0 manufacturing technologies in the Basque wind energy industry

This project, led by GAMESA, includes the participation of ORMAZABAL along with leading companies such as HINE, INGETEAM, LAU LAGUN and JASO.

The project is framed within the “HAZITEK ESTRATÉGICO” program (Exp. ZE-2019/00037) of the Basque Government and is developed during the years 2019 – 2021.

Goals:

The overall objective of the project is to investigate the implementation of Industry 4.0 enabling technologies in the Basque wind energy industry, in order to develop a new generation of products and services for advanced wind turbines that improve the competitiveness of the different agents involved in the sector (suppliers, manufacturers and customers) and position them as benchmarks in their respective areas of activity.
