The growing need to address challenges such as the development of electric vehicles, the incorporation of renewable energies or the increased participation of energy storage highlights the importance of driving a change in our understanding of electricity networks to achieve the objectives of a fully decarbonized economy. In this sense, at Ormazabal we join the Edge for Smart Secondary Substations Alliance (E4S) with the aim of combining our more than 55 years of experience in the electricity sector and our solutions to address the challenges of the energy transition in the development of a flexible, manageable and interoperable standard platform for the Smart Grids of the future.
At Ormazabal we are redoubling our commitment to the development of an intelligent and digitalized electricity grid ecosystem, based on solutions that revolutionize and accelerate the energy transition and help achieve the goal of a climate-neutral economy. A task in which we collaborate by developing native digital solutions with the capacity to monitor and operate the medium and low voltage grid.
“The inclusion of Ormazabal in the E4S will facilitate the development of the new generation of smart grids with computing capabilities at the Transformation Center level” Luis del Río Etayo, Head of Data Analytics at Ormazabal.
